How Does Hair Restoration Microneedling Work?

At Wolf Willow, Kate uses our professional Dermaspark TWIST microneedling device alongside specialized Xcelleris hair restoration serum to create a treatment focused on supporting the scalp and encouraging healthier hair growth.

Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the scalp, stimulating the skin's natural healing response. The treatment is intended to support the scalp environment and is combined with specialized serum during your appointment.

The Xcelleris serum is incorporated into the treatment as part of our hair restoration protocol.

Because hair grows in cycles and changes take time, consistency is an important part of the process.

Our 8 Session Hair Restoration Program

Hair restoration isn't a one appointment treatment.

Our program includes 8 microneedling sessions, scheduled approximately 2 weeks apart, giving us the opportunity to work consistently with your scalp over several months.

8 Professional Microneedling Treatments
Performed by Kate using our Dermaspark TWIST device, focusing on the areas of thinning or reduced density.

Specialized Hair Restoration Serum
Xcelleris serum is used alongside microneedling during your appointments as part of the treatment protocol.

At Home Hair Restoration Kit
Your program also includes a home care kit with Xcelleris Hair Lotion and a scalp roller, allowing you to continue your scalp care routine between appointments. Kate will explain how and when to use your products safely.

Personalized Treatment Planning
Kate will discuss your hair history, areas of concern, goals and expectations to determine whether the program is appropriate for you.

What Can I Expect?

Your first appointment begins with a conversation about your hair, scalp health and what you've been noticing.

Kate will assess the areas you'd like to focus on and explain the treatment process, including what results may realistically be possible.

During your session, the Dermaspark TWIST is used on targeted areas of the scalp alongside the specialized Xcelleris serum.

Some redness, tenderness or scalp sensitivity may occur afterward. You'll receive instructions on how to care for your scalp following treatment.

Because hair growth happens gradually, changes may take several months to become noticeable, and results vary from person to person.

Is Hair Restoration Microneedling Right for Everyone?

Not necessarily, and we think that's important to talk about.

Hair loss can have many different causes. Some types of hair loss may respond differently to treatment, while others require medical assessment or a different approach altogether.

Microneedling isn't a guaranteed solution for hair loss, and we won't promise that everyone will regrow a full head of hair.

If your symptoms suggest that your hair loss should be investigated medically before beginning treatment, we'll be honest about that.
