MEET SHANA
Finding Balance, Naturally
Bodywork Specialist | Traditional Chinese Medicine & Holistic Wellness
Shana brings a thoughtful, grounded, and caring approach to Wolf Willow Collective. With a background in chiropractic care and a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine, she loves helping people better understand their bodies and discover different ways to support their overall well-being.
Before joining Wolf Willow, Shana worked as a chiropractic assistant, where she gained valuable experience in a clinical environment and developed an appreciation for the connection between movement, physical discomfort, and everyday wellness. Working alongside chiropractic professionals gave her insight into the different ways people experience tension, pain, and physical limitations, and helped shape her interest in hands-on therapeutic care.
That experience eventually led her toward Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she has continued to build her knowledge, develop her skills, and pursue her passion for holistic health.
For Shana, wellness isn't about a one-size-fits-all approach. It's about understanding the individual and finding what works for their body.
At Wolf Willow, Shana offers bodywork treatments inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, incorporating techniques such as Tui Na, Gua Sha, and Fire Cupping.
Tui Na is a form of traditional Chinese therapeutic massage that uses different hands-on techniques to work with muscles, soft tissues, and areas of tension. Treatments can be adapted to individual needs, whether you're experiencing tightness, discomfort, or simply looking for an opportunity to relax and reconnect with your body.
Gua Sha uses a smooth-edged tool along the skin as part of a therapeutic bodywork treatment, while Fire Cupping uses traditional cups to create suction on targeted areas of the body. These techniques can be incorporated into a session based on your comfort level, concerns, and treatment goals.
Shana enjoys combining her knowledge of the body with these traditional techniques to create treatments that feel purposeful, personalized, and supportive.
Her goal is to create a comfortable space where clients feel listened to, cared for, and involved in their own wellness.
Shana is also approaching an exciting milestone in her career as she prepares to complete her acupuncture board examinations. With her training nearly complete, she's looking forward to expanding her practice and introducing traditional acupuncture, facial acupuncture, and community acupuncture to Wolf Willow Collective once her registration is finalized.
Traditional acupuncture offers an individualized approach to wellness, with treatments tailored to each person's concerns and goals. Facial acupuncture brings those same Traditional Chinese Medicine principles into facial rejuvenation, with a focus on skin health, circulation, relaxation, and supporting the skin's natural appearance.
Community acupuncture is another offering we're especially excited about. In a comfortable shared setting, clients will be able to receive acupuncture in a more accessible and affordable format. It's a wonderful option for those looking to incorporate regular acupuncture treatments into their wellness routines.
We're excited to support Shana as she takes this next step in her career and look forward to welcoming these additional services very soon.
Outside of her work, Shana loves spending time outdoors and enjoying everything that comes with being surrounded by nature. Whether she's exploring, getting some fresh air, or simply taking time away from a busy schedule, being outdoors is something she genuinely enjoys.
She's also someone who appreciates really good food and the experience of sharing a delicious meal. For Shana, some of life's best moments are often the simple ones, like spending time outside, enjoying good company, and discovering somewhere great to eat.
Her appreciation for balance in her own life carries into the way she approaches her work. She understands that everyone has different needs, routines, and priorities, and believes wellness should be something that supports your life rather than adds pressure to it.
At Wolf Willow Collective, Shana's combination of clinical experience, Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge, and genuine interest in helping others makes her a wonderful addition to our team. She shares our belief in providing care without judgement, respecting each person's individual goals, and making wellness feel approachable and welcoming.
Whether you're curious about Tui Na, interested in trying Gua Sha or Fire Cupping, or looking forward to her upcoming acupuncture services, Shana is excited to help you explore what feels right for your body.
Thoughtful care, traditional techniques, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best. That's Shana.y.
